Airheads Track

Atmosphere Edge Program: Airheads Track admission is $1895. Admission includes access to Atmosphere keynotes, Airheads technical breakouts, one exam, meals, and access to HPE Discover Las Vegas keynotes, sessions, combined expo hall, and celebration. *Sleeping rooms are sold separately

Technical Training
For a deeper experience, complement your Airheads Track attendance with technical training in one of 17 training courses. These in-depth sessions are a combination of lecture and hands-on lab time.
Be prepared to:
- Up your game with technical training. With more choices than ever, expand your skillset with a variety of training opportunities and benefit from expanded training hours.
- Validate your knowledge, skills, and ability. Get certified with a choice of over 18 certification exams in the PearsonVue exam center. All attendees are eligible take one exam which is included in your registration fees.
- Immerse yourself in networking opportunities. Reconnect with the Airheads community for unique, members-only experiences.
Atmosphere Edge Program: Airheads Track + Training admission is $2495. Admission includes access to Atmosphere keynotes, one training session, Airheads technical breakouts, one exam, meals, and access to HPE Discover Las Vegas keynotes, sessions, combined expo hall and celebration. *Sleeping rooms are sold separately.
Training attendees will participate in 1 of 17 training courses offered Monday through Thursday. Upon completion of training, attendees can choose to take an exam Thursday afternoon or Friday morning. Training seats are limited. You must make your course selection at the time of registration.
Ideal candidate for this track: Network engineers, partner engineers, architects, managers, administrators, and security specialists looking for a deeper, hands-on training experience will benefit most from the Airheads Track with Training.

Training Courses
Training courses will be held Monday, June 17 – Thursday, June 20 unless otherwise noted.
- Aruba OS-CX Switching Fundamentals
In this course, learn about ArubaOS-CX switch technologies including Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), secure access using features like dynamic segmentation, redundancy technologies such as Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), link aggregation techniques including Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), and switch virtualization with HPE Virtual Switching Framework (VSF). You also learn about IP routing including static and dynamic IP routing with Open Shortest Path First (OSPF).
Ideal candidates for this course: IT Professionals who deploy small-to-medium scale enterprise network solutions based on Aruba products and technologies.
- Implementing Aruba OS-CX Switching
This course teaches the advanced skills necessary to implement and operate enterprise level HPE Aruba Networking campus switching solutions. Build on the skills you learned at the Associate level to configure and manage modern, open standards-based networking solutions using Aruba OS-CX routing and switching technologies. Learn about ArubaOS-CX switch technologies including securing port access with dynamic segmentation, redundancy technologies such as Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), link aggregation techniques including Link Aggregation Protocol (LACP), switch virtualization with Virtual Switching Extension (VSX), and Virtual Switching Framework (VSF).
Ideal candidate for this course: Typical candidates for this course are IT Professionals who will deploy and manage networks based on HPE’s ArubaOS-CX switches.
- Designing HPE Aruba Networking Campus Access Solutions
This course helps architects learn the skills required to design an HPE Aruba Networking campus access solution, including interpreting technical requirements to create and design a secure, redundant, scalable, resilient, or high performing infrastructure consistent with the appropriate validated solution guide per business needs. Discover how to interpret complex requirements and constraints to design an optimal HPE Aruba Networking solution.
Ideal candidate for this course: Typical candidate for this course is a senior technical professional. Examples of appropriate experience may include: principal engineer, network consultant, presales consultant, solutions architect, networking SME, network security architect, or technical member from architecture teams.
- Designing HPE Aruba Networking Data Center Solutions
This course helps architects gain the skills required to design an HPE Aruba Networking data center switching solution, including interpreting technical requirements to create and design a secure, redundant, scalable, resilient, and high-performing infrastructure consistent with the appropriate validated solution guide per business needs. Discover how to interpret complex requirements and constraints to design an optimal HPE Aruba Networking solution.
Ideal candidate for this course: Typical candidate for this certification is a senior technical professional. Examples of appropriate experience may include: principal engineer, network consultant, presales consultant, solutions architect, networking SME, network security architect, or technical member from architecture teams.
- HPE Aruba Networking Network Security Fundamentals (NSF)
This course covers foundational security concepts. It describes common security threats and vulnerabilities and provides an overview of important security technologies. Learn how to create a trusted network infrastructure with HPE Aruba Networking mobility solutions and switches. In addition to discussing device hardening, the course discusses implementing security at the edge with AAA, basic roles and firewall policies, dynamic segmentation, and endpoint classification. The course explains basic threat detection technologies and how to collect logs and alarms, including how to use them to initiate an investigation.
Ideal candidate for this course: A network or help desk engineer working in a customer or partner environment that has six months to a year of experience in networking. In both wired and wireless environments.
- Implementing HPE Aruba Networking Security
This course helps admins use the HPE Aruba Networking portfolio to implement Zero Trust Security (ZTS) and protect their networks from threats. It explains how to configure HPE Aruba Networking network infrastructure and ClearPass solutions to authenticate and control both wired and wireless users, as well as remote users on a client-to-site VPN. Learn how to collect a variety of contextual information using ClearPass Policy Manager (CPPM) and implement advanced role mapping and enforcement policies. The course also covers using ClearPass Device Insight to enhance visibility. Learn how to set up features such as the ArubaOS-CX Network Analytics Engine (NAE), Wireless Intrusion Detection System/Intrusion Prevention System (WIDS/WIPS), and HPE Aruba Networking gateway IDS/IPS.
Ideal candidate for this course: Network engineer responsible for implementing security controls on enterprise networks. Candidate can describe the network security stack (firewall, proxy, remote access, IDS/IPS, access control, NTA, UEBA).
- HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Configuration
This course, which includes instructional modules and labs, teaches foundational Network Access Control skills using the ClearPass product portfolio. Learn how to set up ClearPass as an AAA server and configure Policy Manager, Guest, OnGuard, and Onboard features. In addition, this course covers integration with external Active Directory servers, monitoring and reporting, as well as deployment best practices. Gain insight into configuring authentication with ClearPass on both wired and wireless networks.
Ideal candidate for this course: candidates include network professionals who are looking to build their foundational knowledge of the ClearPass product portfolio.
- HPE Aruba Networking ClearPass Advanced Configuration
This course introduces different customer requirements and explains technology fundamentals required to fulfill them. The included lab guide explains the entire process—from planning to implementation, testing, and troubleshooting (if required). Learn the necessary skills to face any challenging scenario.
Ideal candidate for this course: Network Security Experts, individuals who implement network access control solutions, network managers with Aruba access device experience (wired & wireless), or network administrators who already own a ClearPass solution and are looking to deploy advanced features.
- Managing Campus Networks with HPE Aruba Networking Central
The course teaches how to centrally manage and monitor wired and wireless networks using the campus cloud-based management system. This course covers the Central management service and includes options for onboarding devices by managing Aruba Instant Access Points and HPE Aruba Networking switches as a standalone customer or as a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
Ideal candidate for this course: This course is ideal for technical personnel who want a deep-dive into Aruba Central and Network Administrators who need to centralize the management and configuration of Aruba IAPs and Switches.
- Managing HPE Aruba Networking Cloud-Based Networks with Central
This course teaches how HPE Aruba Networking Central, our cloud-based networking system, enables IT to manage and monitor both wired and wireless environments. This course includes topics such as Central REST API and teaches new MSP features within HPE GreenLake.
Ideal candidate for this course: Ideal candidates are networking IT professionals or technical marketing professionals looking to expand their knowledge and skillset on the Aruba Central platform.
- Advanced Management of HPE Aruba Networking Cloud-Based Networks with Central
This course teaches how HPE Aruba Networking Central services can improve network visibility, security, and automation. Learn how Client Insights gives network administrators deep knowledge about the devices connected to the network and how they behave. Through the integration of Cloud Auth and cloud identity stores, such as Microsoft Azure AD and Google Workspace, Central provides user and client access policy on any managed network—with no extra hardware or on-prem authentication server. Also learn more about the Central API options and capabilities.

- Implementing HPE Aruba Networking Campus Access
This course teaches the advanced skills necessary to implement and operate enterprise level HPE Aruba Networking campus access solutions. Build on the skills you learned at the Associate level to configure, secure, and manage modern, open standards-based wired and wireless network solutions using HPE Aruba Networking switching, mobility, security, and management technologies. Learn about technologies including, but not limited to, secure port access with dynamic segmentation, redundancy technologies such as Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), link aggregation techniques including Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), and switch virtualization with Virtual Switching Extension (VSX) and Virtual Switching work (VSF).
Ideal candidate for this course: The ideal candidate has 2 to 5 years experience with Aruba portfolio and an understanding of the implications of their actions on the network, impact and risk of change management. They have a distinguished understanding of different protocols across vendors, performance optimization across network disciplines, and a basic understanding of API calls and configuration. They can identify and fix configuration issues.
- Configuring HPE Aruba Networking Network Automation Solutions
This course helps you better understand HPE Aruba Networking network automation solutions. This course builds a solid foundation for the network administrator or engineer entering the world of coding, scripting, and automation.

- Implementing Data Center Networks
This course explains the HPE Aruba Networking solutions and technologies for data center networks and their use cases for traditional two- and three-tier and modern spine and leaf data center architectures.
